FREEFLY RTK GPS Ground Station

Maintain horizontal and vertical positional accuracy of your Alta X drone with this RTK GPS Ground Station from FREEFLY. The unit communicates Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) data from your drone to your computer for centimeter-level accuracy. It is designed to work with the Alta X drone and with AltaSW 1.3+ and PX4 1.9+ control software.

The ground station is compatible with an Alta X that has an F9P GPS module installed, which then works as the "Rover". This ground station module features a multiband receiver and connects to your computer using the included USB cable to act as the "Ground Station". This allows you to utilize the Alta QGC QGroundControl GUI to control the drone. The Ground Station module can be mounted onto a tripod for optimal connectivity using the included magnetic mounting hardware. The system features an integrated IST8310 magnetometer, a BMP388 barometer, a USB Type-A to Type-C cable, and mounting screws.
