Whether you're aiming to document the hustle and bustle of city life or the quiet charm of hidden alleys, this class will equip you with the skills and confidence to make every shot count. In this class, you will learn not only the technical skills, equipment types, and best lenses or settings but also the intimate intricacies of navigating street photography on the streets themselves, the laws that apply to a photographer and their subject, including adults and children, the etiquette, behavior, and conflict resolution should such situation arise in the moment of photographing a subject.
The full course will consist of an in-person class where we will cover most of the above-mentioned subjects, including the technical and equipment part.
We will schedule the field classes on the weekends, based on popular demand.
A truly one-of-a-kind experience of being out in the field, and learning directly from a recognized, award-winning, and published photographer.
Your instructor: With over a decade of experience photographing on the streets of Israel, Ukraine, the Netherlands, and the United States. Yan is an award-winning, and published street & documentary photographer, with his photographic body of work published across news media publications in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and North America, and his work appearing in solo and collective exhibitions across both Israel and US. He had the privilege to lecture on the subject of Street & Documentary photography in notable settings such as Tel-Aviv University and National Israel Museum.
