Light & Motion Stella CL 2000 / CLx8 2-Light Portrait Kit

Designed for image-makers who need a lightweight, compact, powerful light source that can compete with strobes, the 3.3 x 8", 2.7 lb CLx8 LED Light from Light & Motion fits the bill. The light has a daylight 5600K color balance that can be tungsten-converted with optional snap-on filters and has a CRI of 93 and a TLCI of 94 rating, indicating advanced accuracy in color rendering. The light's expansive 120° beam angle can be modified with optional 25° and 50° lenses. The rugged fixture has an IP54 rating making it weatherproof, and it has been dropped repeatedly on concrete from a height of 3.28' without impact damage.

The CLx8 is dimmable on the fixture or remotely at distances up to 606' with the optional EL Remote Control. The light has a built-in battery that will give you 50 minutes of run time at full power and 15 hours at low power. When in the studio, you can run it indefinitely thanks to the included AC adapter. The CLx8 comes with a stand mount, a High-Leverage Handle for quick adjustments, and an adapter that allows you to use Profoto OCF modifiers.

The Stella 2000 5600K LED Light from Light & Motion is a daylight-balanced LED source that packs a wide variety of features into a very compact fixture. The light employs a high-output COB LED that reduces its size and eliminates multiple shadows that can plague LED fixtures.

The Stella 2000 is ideal for location. Measuring 4.8 x 3.6 x 3.6" and weighing just 1.1 lb, it's barely noticeable in your kit case. What is noticeable is the clean, accurate, flicker-free color rendering that gives it a rating of CRI rating of 90 and TLCI rating of 93.

The Stella 2000 has a wide 120-degree beam that can be narrowed with an optional 50-degree optic or softened with an optional diffuser. The fan-free design is dead quiet for sound-sensitive locations, while the light is dimmable either continuously or in steps. The housing is also durably built. Not only can it survive repeated dropping on concrete from a height of 3.3', but it's also waterproof to depths of 328 feet!

The unit is powered by a built-in battery that charges to full power in 1.75 hours and gives you a run time of 50 to 415 minutes depending on the power selected. You can also run the light from a D-Tap external battery source for longer shoots. Additionally, you can use mains power anywhere in the world thanks to the inclusion of a multi-voltage AC power supply. The Stella 2000 also comes with a YS Mount and a C-Stand Mount to quickly and easily secure your light on a stand or other support.

The 4-Way Barndoors for Stella 2000 and 5000 LED Heads from Light & Motion allows you to control and shape the light beam of these fixtures while containing spill light. The robust press-on design mounts quickly and securely onto the Stella face bezel and features the DM (Direct Mount) interface which allows additional DM light modifiers to be attached.

The CTO Filter Set for Stella 2000 from Light & Motion contains Full, 1/2, and 1/4 amber hard-acrylic CTO filters to convert the light's daylight 5600K output to approximately 3200K, or to partially convert or warm the output. The filter set is for the Stella 2000 only and requires the separate purchase of the 3" Speed Ring Gel Holder.

Created to produce soft, omni-directional light using the Stella Pro RF, Stella Pro, and Stella 2000 LED fixtures, the Dome Diffuser DM from Light & Motion widens the beam angle and diffuses the output of these lights. The dome must be used with the separately-purchased Barndoor Modifier 82mm with Direct Mount and can be used with third-party softboxes to further soften light output.

Providing a smooth beam with gentle fall-off, the 50-Degree Optic DM from Light & Motion tightens the 120-degree beam angle of the Stella Pro RF, Stella Pro, and Stella 2000 to 50 degrees for selective lighting. Use requires the separate purchase of the Barn Doors Light Modifier with Direct Mount (DM). Alternately, the 50-Degree Optic can be used in combination with Elinchrom light shaping tools or third-party softboxes to further soften their light output.

Featuring fast twist-lock mounting and removal, the Press-On Modifier Interface for CLx LED Light from Light & Motion allows the CLx to use 82mm Stella CL modifiers including barndoors, the 25-degree Fresnel lens, and the Speedring Gel Holder.

Compatible with Stella 2000, Stella Pro, and Stella Pro RF LED lights, the Speedring Gel Holder from Light & Motion attaches firmly to the fixture's bezel and allows the use of Chimera softbox speedring adapters. The included gel frame accepts 3x3" hard gel filters.

The Light & Motion Fresnel Lens for Stella 2000 and 5000 LED Lights narrows the beam angle and creates a focused look with high contrast and sharp shadows. The lens has a press-on design for fast attachment or detachment.
