The 430EX II Speedlite is Canon's premier Semi-Professional shoe mount flash but still shares its large feature set with its bigger brother the Canon 600EX-RT Speedlite. It's Canon cameras dedicated TTL shoe is designed to support full compatibility with all Canon EOS DSLR's, Canon's Mirrorless-M series and hot-shoe ready canon point and shoot's such as the Powershot-G series.
The 430EX II Flash also features Canon's E-TTL II metering technology which is compatible with most current generation Canon cameras. The 430EX II features a fully swiveling bounce head for 0 to 90 degree tilting and 360 pivoting on its horizontal axis. Wireless ETTL II compatibility allows the 430EX II to be used off camera as a wireless slave flash with fully automatic exposure and can be triggered using canon's 580EX, 600EX-RT, ST-E2, or MR-14EX.
