This is the ideal accessory when using large eyepieces, coma correctors, or a large finderscope, as it allows precise balancing by simply threading the 14mm shaft into the mirror box and installing the two 2.5-pound weights on it. Each weight features a thumbscrew that enables it to be positioned anywhere on the shaft to set the balance perfectly.
