The HB-N111 Lens Hood from Nikon is designed for the NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8 lens. It deflects unwanted light from entering the lens and causing flare. It also provides a degree of protection for the lens from accidental impact and precipitation. This compact hood is made to enhance the slim, pancake form factor of the lens. This is a spare or replacement hood for the one originally included with the lens.
