Cam Caddie Scorpion Lockout Kit for Scorpion and Scorpion EX Rigs

The Scorpion Lockout Kit from Cam Caddie is designed to remove the natural dampening effect of the Scorpion rig and create a solid platform for heavier cameras and accessory configurations. This process is achieved by connecting the camera's built-in flash shoe with the bottom side of the Scorpion handle via the use of all three kit components. The stability achieved allows the user to mount multiple heavy accessories to the Scorpion—or mount a heavier camera body without the risk of the Scorpion rig flexing under additional strain. Although primarily designed to work with DSLRs, the Lockout Kit also works with many camcorders.
