Jasper’s main flap is closed with beautiful, metal hook-latches that are easy to use and silent in operation. They can also be adjusted to allow taller items in your bag. Alternatively, unzip the top of the bag for direct access to the main camera compartment.
Inside you will find a light grey interior against which small items stand out, so they don't get lost at the bottom of the bag. The main compartment is customizable using movable dividers that provide cushioning. This main compartment is also removable so you can use the Jasper bag to carry other things, and/or you can drop the main camera compartment into a different bag. Behind the main camera compartment is a slender compartment for holding a tablet or flat accessories such as pop-up reflectors, exposure cards, etc…
Every inch of space is designed to be useful in a Jasper bag. Both the front and back of this Satchel have numerous pockets for holding all types of accessories. A detachable lanyard is great for keys. The back flap is magnetically closed. This allows fast, one-handed access so you can open it, reach in, and let the flap close itself after you have retrieved a filter, trail map, or ??? Even the front flap of the bag has an outside zipper with a convenient loop style pull. It’s perfect for a phone, viewing filter, or other small item. Oh, and there’s a “hidden” pocket located on the back of the bag behind one side flap. Open its vertical zipper for access. The included rain cover is stored in a convenient zipper compartment at the base of the bag. The side pockets provide places to stash items quickly without having to open the bag. They are especially handy for water bottles, snack bars, or small lenses, small LED light, or a flash.
Tripod carrying straps are included with every Jasper bag. These can be attached to special loops located at the base of the bag. After attaching them you can attach or detach your tripod using quick release buckles.
Outer fabric is treated for water resistance and a full rain cover is included for the unavoidable deluge. The bag’s base is made from a durable, waterproof material that keeps the bag dry even if you set it down on wet ground.
