Some spectacular and vintage Leica M mount lenses are out there and many other camera companies can't integrate them to their camera bodies without a complex and useless process of adding glass between the lens and the body canceling any advantage of using such a lens for the special optics it creates. The Micro Four Thirds body has the perfect shallow flange to sensor distance to accommodate the lens with a simple adaptor.
