The MC-DC3 Remote Release Cord helps minimize camera shake while taking photos with compatible Nikon cameras. To use the MC-DC3, simply plug the 3 foot 3 inch (1 m) cord into the 3.5mm stereo mini-pin headphone/remote jack of a compatible Nikon camera and check that [# connector function] in the setup menu is set to [Auto switch].
